Silver Oaks has received a 2008 MUSE Award for development of the John Deere StarFire™ GPS Interactive Kiosk exhibit located at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago. It is the second MUSE Award we have received in the past three years, and an honorable achievement considering only a handful are awarded for select categories each year. The international MUSE awards competition is sponsored by the Media and Technology Standing Professional Committee of the American Association of Museums to recognize outstanding achievements in museum media. Virtual Embryo Develops at Silver Oaks
Silver Oaks has recently revamped the Virtual Embryo exhibit at Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry into a more interactive and educational user-experience with the integration of touchscreen technology and stunning 3D animation. Using the existing content as a point of reference, we created a new 4-minute interactive experience that explains the role of master control genes and highlights the major milestones of embryonic development in the first eight weeks of human pregnancy.
