‘Birds of North America’ will be open to visitors from Jan. 14 – May 31.
MOLINE, Ill. (Feb. 18, 2009) – Silver Oaks Communications, a creative media company centrally located in Moline, Illinois, recently completed work on a interactive touchscreen soundscape that features bird calls from 28 different North American species. Displayed as part of the National Geographic Museum’s “Birds of North America” exhibit in Washington, D.C., the Silver Oaks interactive “Bird Songs” allows visitors to select the calls they would like to hear, with the ability to combine multiple calls into a symphony of nature.
