When the Quad Cities Advertising Federation honored the area’s top advertising efforts of the past year during the 2010 ADDY Awards at Jumer’s Casino & Hotel, Rock Island, Ill., Silver Oaks brought home eight trophies. One of these projects has since won a regional Silver ADDY and qualified for the National ADDY Awards.

Don’t let hunger sneak up on you, “Kick Hunger” and fight back. This was the concept for the commercial Silver Oaks wrote, shot and edited for the Doritos Crash the Super Bowl Contest.

We did. That’s why our Video department took up the challenge posed by Doritos. The snack food company’s “Crash the Super Bowl” competition invited contestants to write, shoot and edit their own Doritos commercials. Official graphics and animations were provided for download on the company’s website. Other than that and a few guidelines, the creative was up to the entrants. More >
