John Deere Classic is a Silver Oaks Tradition

05SEPT07

It has become a tradition. Every summer, we invite our clients to join us in supporting the John Deere Golf Classic at TPC Deere Run. This July was no different, as we all turned out to greet our clients while providing coordination assistance at the non-profit event. Silver Oaks worked with the John Deere Classic to produce all of their electronic promotional material. These projects included a 2006 highlight DVD, radio and TV spots, and two videos that were shown at the tournament’s Pro Am Pairings Party Monday of tournament week.

“It is always a treat to work with the Silver Oaks team on these projects each year,” said tournament director Clair Peterson. “They really help us present ourselves in a quality fashion to players, spectators and fans. They are an important part of our success.”

Witnessing the genuine excitement from everyone always comes as the ultimate reward after spending numerous hours in the previous months donating our time and materials to the promotion of the Classic. We are proud to have been involved in this process for over twenty years, beginning in 1986 when JDC was known as the Hardee’s Golf Classic. Today, the tournament is one of 43 PGA Tour events, and continues to rank above all other stops for the most dollars per capita given to charity.

Silver Oaks would like to thank all of our clients who visited us at the JDC this year. We certainly enjoyed ourselves and are looking forward to seeing everyone at the the 16th hole again in 2008!
