Rock Chalk Jayhawk15MAY06The University of Kansas opened the doors to the new athletic Hall of Fame on Jan. 21, 2006, allowing Jayhawks everywhere to experience the history and tradition of Kansas athletics both past and present. The new attraction was showcased on ESPN at half time of a Kansas men’s basketball game. 1220 Exhibits, an exhibit and event marketing company in Nashville, teamed up with Silver Oaks to help bring to life the new exhibit space. Working directly with 1220 Exhibits, we designed three interactive programs to showcase the history of the University of Kansas athletics and integrate it into the environment at Allen Field House.
The programs run from a server on three touchscreen kiosks. A combination of HTML and Flash allows these programs to be browser-based, the database easily updated and the Web content fully integrated into the user interface. Our interactive applications were a key component of the Hall of Fame exhibit space. The touchscreen kiosks allowed visitors to review and research statistics, biographies and photos of greats such as James Naismith, Al Oerter, Gale Sayers and Wilt Chamberlain. Silver Oaks is dedicated to developing award-winning multimedia interactives that are both imaginative and compelling. Twenty-three years of experience of both creative and technical talent, enable us to entertain and influence your audiences. See how! [ send this page to a friend! click here ] |
