Newest Iowa Attraction Showcases Silver Oaks Interactive Expertise07APR05Silver Oaks has developed interactive exhibits that are part of the newest attraction in Iowa. The new Iowa Hall of Pride in Des Moines is a tribute to the achievements of Iowans, from student athletes to sports legends and film stars. Silver Oaks Communications, a creative media company based in the Quad Cities, developed key exhibits in the Iowa Hall of Pride, including a fast-paced basketball trivia game. “We’re proud to be a part of this unique interactive experience that showcases Iowa’s athletes and heritage,” said Greg Scott, president of Silver Oaks. “The exciting new Iowa Hall of Pride will attract visitors from all over and leave them with an appreciation of Iowans and their achievements.” Through 26 interactive exhibits, the Iowa Hall of Pride, the first of its kind in the nation, gives visitors the opportunity to learn about Iowa’s legacy in education and extracurricular activities. Directions to the Iowa Hall of Pride: Take U.S. 61 (North Brady Street) to I-80 West via Exit 123B to Des Moines. Merge onto I-235 South via Exit 137A on the left toward Des Moines, then take the Third Street exit toward Fifth Avenue. Take a slight left onto Third Street, then turn right on Center Street. Turn left onto Fifth Avenue and take another left onto Park Street. The Iowa Hall of Pride is at 330 Park Street. Admission: $5 for adults and $4 for students.
