Silver Oaks Ad Earns National Recognition22MAR05An Alcoa Employees and Community Credit Union print ad, written, designed and produced by Silver Oaks Communications, earned one of 137 Diamond Awards at the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) competition in Palm Springs, Calif. “We’re proud that, for the second consecutive year, Silver Oaks has helped the Alcoa credit union bring home national recognition,” said Greg Scott, president of Silver Oaks. The full-color mortgage loan ad, which is part of an entire campaign, shows a partially open sardine can with the credit union logo. “Crowded? Time for a larger home.” is the headline. “We’ll help you all get some breathing room!” is part of the text that follows. Nearly 1,400 entries competed in the Diamond Awards this year. All the entries except for the Internet category, which were judged earlier, were evaluated Jan. 20-21 in Madison, Wis. Judges sought:
