Silver Oaks is 21!21DEC04Long before you ever heard of an e-mail or a web site, Silver Oaks was creating innovative communications for its clients. To celebrate its 21st anniversary, Silver Oaks Communications Inc. hosted a gala birthday party for more than 100 clients. “We wanted to thank our clients with a celebration that was as unique as each client's needs,” said founder and CEO Greg Scott, Davenport. Guests, who received specially designed Silver Oaks invitations that contained a candle, brought the candles to place in a special birthday cake. During the event, the “best of Silver Oaks” was available for guests to enjoy, with interactive games, 3-D animation and other Silver Oaks-produced projects including books, brochures, CD-ROMs and DVDs. The company began in 1983 as Silver Image. Silver Oaks currently employs 58 communications specialists. “Quality is the foundation of the vision that began, and continues to drive, Silver Oaks,” says Scott. “When it comes right down to it, there aren't many places like Silver Oaks,” Scott says. “You won't find many places with expertise in so many communications fields.” It's that quality that keeps clients returning to Silver Oaks for their communications needs. “We are committed to provide our clients with the most current communications in design and technology,” Scott said. “Our talented workforce creatively solves problems in every form of communication, from advertising and corporate projects to the needs of institutional clients such as museums and educational enterprises,” Scott said. “Our loyal client base reflects the reliability of our expertise.” Silver Oaks' specialties include video, 3-D animation, audio, DVD, multimedia, interactive, web sites, game development, photography, prepress, printing, graphic design, marketing, events and copy writing.
