Working with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago to replace the in-person visit to the Cash Room, Silver Oaks created an exhibit for the Fed's visitor center that simulates the firsthand experience of observing the processing of millions of dollars. The exhibit provides the viewer with the illusion of looking through a steel-barred window into the Cash Room's security monitoring station, providing a "live" view of all aspects of the inspection process. Artwork and compositing techniques were used in the video to create the security station setting, allowing for seven video sequences to play simultaneously on one large monitor-thus providing the illusion of a bank of monitors where each is presumably being fed by a security camera. Silver Oaks has also produced for the Federal Reserve Bank large graphic panels that illustrate the Fed's role in the banking system.
