Dillon Nature Center Plants: The Roots of Life, created for the Dillon Nature Center in Hutchinson, Kansas, is an interactive and educational program that looks at photosynthesis, pollination, and native Kansas plants. Photosynthesis is a complex process, but is effectively illustrated with interactivity and animation. The Pollination section illustrates how plants attract bees and other pollinators. A matching game invites visitors to select a pollinator and the type of plant that it would most likely be attracted to. Discovering Kansas Plants is another feature of the kiosk where visitors can explore both the natural history and hisotrical uses of all these native plants.
