"Our Changing Land" Interactive

Project Description

A fascinating series of aerial photographs and maps from the past 100 years was the inspiration behind this interactive exhibit. Utilizing a series of interactive maps and on-screen text, “Our Changing Land” presents information on urban sprawl, the effect on farmland, topographical change and agricultural conservation practices in the local area. Visitors are able to select a local landmark and view how the specific area has evolved through morphing aerial maps and accompanying information that explains how the land use has changed.
