Metrobank 100-year Anniversary Campaign
Project Description
Silver Oaks planned and executed a year-long, 100-year anniversary branding campaign to celebrate Metrobank’s history of being a locally-owned, “neighborhood” bank. We developed the concept “Standing the test of time,” showing key objects that were also approximately 100 years old – the wristwatch, the teddy bear and the airplane. A sepia-tone effect was used for the historic images, then transitioning to color for current day – providing a look with a very warm, rich feel.
“Standing the test of time” was developed into a consistent and unified graphic look that was implemented throughout an entire campaign, complete with an anniversary logo. Campaign elements included an impressive 200-page anniversary coffee table book, brochures, calendar and annual report, as well as radio, TV and newspaper advertising and placement of those advertisements. Silver Oaks also produced a historical video to chronicle the history of the bank’s founders and the legacy they’ve left.
