Illinois Quad City Chamber "Silver Ball" Videos

In support of the Illinois Quad City Chamber and its efforts to build economic development and growth in the Quad Cities, Silver Oaks participated as the video sponsor for the 2010 Silver Ball: Coast to Coast. The Illinois Quad City Chamber wanted two videos that would play off the theme of the event that would be fun and lighthearted, yet still professional. The first video showcased “Pick Your Destination,” a game of chance to pick a Silver Ball that holds a prize. It was developed to look like a retro game show with an enthusiastic announcer, personable host and glamorous game show hostess. The second video, titled “On Our Way to the Silver Ball,” featured a couple heading to the Silver Ball and discussing the event and all the programs that would benefit from the money raised that night.

The talent for both videos were representatives from the Illinois Quad City Chamber’s Silver Ball committee and were shot on green screen in Silver Oaks studios. Silver Oaks also animated the Silver Ball logo; designed the game show set, road trip car and scenery; and provided voice over and music for both videos.
