Project Description

The Allsteel Everyday Advantage Visual Proposal Genius is a password-protected, dealer-only web application that aids the user in putting together a proposal package for prospective clients. A user can customize an office system quote by specifying the number of workstations, color palette, workstation type and orientation, as well as a number of other parameters. After all choices have been made, the program generates and downloads a bundled file containing dynamically-created Word documents (proposal, cover letter and overview document) as well as CAD and other image documents particular to the system specified. Per client request, Silver Oaks also wrote a scheduled server task to execute the build of an Excel spreadsheet showing usage for the prior week and automatically emailing it to the internal management group.
