William Wesley Spa "Art of a Mood" TV Commercial

In this ADDY Award-winning :30 TV spot for William Wesley, a high-end day spa, Silver Oaks chose to highlight the pleasures of being pampered and escaping from the everyday. The challenge for our creative team was how to create this high-end image without just shooting better-lit shots of traditional spa scenes. We asked ourselves what is a spa treatment? Why do you go to the spa? And we determined that it is more than a facial, manicure or a massage; it is an escape, a feeling. To illustrate this message we decided to take a graphic approach. Accompanied by soft music and a sensual voice-over, the commercial shows an animated line that fluidly forms a series of images designed to set a mood for relaxation. William Wesley received great response from viewers, and has attracted new customers as a result.
