Project Description

Silver Oaks completed seven multimedia interactives for the Iowa High School Athletic Association for use in the Iowa Hall of Pride museum. Located in Des Moines, Iowa, the Iowa Hall of Pride features exhibits honoring Iowa’s student athletes and scholars, sports legends, movie stars, musicians and scientists in an entirely interactive environment. For sports enthusiasts, there is one-on-one “Basketball Trivia.” Each player with his or her own 19” touchscreen monitor races against time to answer 12 questions about Iowa high school basketball. After four periods, the player with the most points wins. The program interfaces with a Daktronics scoreboard which keeps score in real time and buzzes when the game is over.
