Alcoa "Dawn of Flight" TV Commercial

Project Description

Alcoa is very proud of the fact that their aluminum has been used throughout the history of flight – from the Wright brothers to the space shuttle. Instead of using historic images or footage to show these milestones, we decided to take a softer, more emotional approach. 3D animation was used to create the representations of flight since the dawn of time; a script that spoke to an emotion rather than a product was written. This combination, along with music and a richly-layered soundtrack of effects, delivers the message that Alcoa is a major player in the development of the aerospace industry.
