Project Description

The creative team at Silver Oaks worked closely with HNI Corporation to produce HNI’s “Yesterday & Today” exhibit at the Muscatine History and Industry Center, located in Muscatine, Iowa. From start to finish, Silver Oaks employed its full range of in-house capabilities – from design, writing, media production, video and audio to final fabrication and installation. The end result is a dynamic 13-display exhibit that showcases the rich heritage of HNI Corporation.

Keeping in style with HNI’s quality reputation in the furniture industry, Silver Oaks took careful measures to integrate a mixture of textures and finishes, incorporating rich cherry veneers, woven fabrics and large specialty image glass panels. Dramatic images of product detail shots, such as this one, are hung on the walls as focal points, and one entire wall mural is devoted to showcasing the HNI “We Believe” statements.
