Presto Video, the Silver Oaks filmmaking team, produced “A Cadaver Christmas” for the 48 Hour Fall Shoot Out, an invitational event open only to 48 Hour Film Project Best-of-City winners. The team was given a genre (science fiction), character (Tony Tipparino, cartoon voice artist), line of dialogue (“Good luck with that.”), prop (extension cord), and 48 hours to complete a short film. Sponsored this year by the Samuel Adams Company, each team was also sent a different variety of Samuel Adams beer (a holiday beer called "Old Fezzywig"), and was encouraged to incorporate the product into their film. The result of the creative team writing all these diverse ideas into one film is “A Cadaver Christmas.” Fans of the team’s award-winning “Man Eating Dumpster” feature will recognize director, Joe Zerul’s style and even some familiar faces.

“A Cadaver Christmas” can also be seen at the 48 Hour Film Project’s video website; www.48.tv.
